Everlasting Love: Oprah & Deepak Meditation Challenge Day 21

The final day of our 21-Day Meditation Challenge, “Miraculous Relationships” was a roundup of all we had done so far in the challenge to deepen our experience of love and happiness in our relationships. Today’s Centering Thought was:

Everlasting Love: Oprah & Deepak Meditation Challenge Day 21

Love begins with me

Ego to Spirit

The past 20 days have definitely made in a shift in my thinking. While I am far from experiencing a miracle in my relationships, I can assure you that if I unfailing continue to practice what I have learned, I could make a huge difference in my life. At least I am open to a whole new world of possibilities. By spending time each day in reflection and meditation, I have made a shift from dis-contentment to love and from ego to spirit. I am making constant efforts to let go of old grievances and pain and trying to experience the sweetness of forgiveness and gratitude.

But as Deepak reminds us, “While this meditation challenge is coming to an end, the evolution of your consciousness is infinite. You have planted the seeds of intention for miraculous relationships in the fertile field of all possibilities, where they will continue to bloom and flourish in the days, months, and years to come.”

Miracles

“The miracle comes quietly into the mind that stops an instant and is still.” – A Course in Miracles

We began our journey trying to increase (or form) an awareness for the miracles that happen in our everyday life, that we fail to notice. Each day of the meditation challenge encouraged us to stop, reflect, become aware of, and then act/react. The 21st day urged us to continue to focus our attention on the presence of miracles in our life, sustaining the practice of writing in our journal about the grace, gratitude, and love that is ever flowing in abundance when we see with the eyes of spirit.

Quoting Deepak again: “Let your true self ripple out and bless the world with your unique and special signature vibration of love and light. Choose love. Be love. Give love—now and always.”

Meditation

In our meditation on the last day, we celebrated the love that we all now know to be already there in each one of us. The Sanskrit mantra for the day was: Aham Brahmasmi. It means: The core of my being is the ultimate reality, the root and ground of the universe, the source of all that exists. It was a summation of the teachings of the 21 days gone by and I had a very satisfying meditation experience today.

Namaste.
