Use pinecones to hold place cards. Write each guest’s name on a small piece of paper and nestle it between the spaces.

Fill a 12-inch glass hurricane candle shade with acorns, pecans, and tiny pumpkins.

Squash, apples, or tiny pumpkins make wonderful candle holders. Carve a hole in the top for the candle. Put one at each place setting or arrange on a bed of fall leaves.
