Shadowbox Nativity Display for Christmas

This beautiful decoration is a perfect way to remind the family of the meaning of Christmas. It is also a great way to recycle old Christmas cards.

Materials:

1. Unfinished shadowbox

2. Brown paint

3. Paintbrush

4. Pop up squares (found in scrapbook sections)

5. Sharp utility knife

6. Christmas card with picture of the nativity scene

Method:

1. Begin by painting the wood of the shadowbox brown.

2. Cut the card so that you only have the picture of the nativity scene.

3. Use the sharp utility knife to cut around the outline of some of the images. It is a good idea to work with the picture and cut around the images that are in the forefront of the picture.

4. Glue the background (what you have not cut from the card with the utility knife) in the shadowbox.

5. Use the pop up squares to adhere the cut out images in varying levels. Put baby Jesus in the very front by using extra pop up squares.
