Budget-savvy tips for Disney World visitors
By Michele Sponagle
(NC)—There's no need to break the piggy bank for
that vacation to Walt Disney World. Your wallet friendly theme park
vacation begins with a decision to stay at a Disney property. While
you might think that this is a budget busting notion, the truth is
it's a smart choice. Stay at one of Disney's value-priced hotels
like Pop Century or All-Star Resorts. Better yet, book during the
off-season for even better savings.
The numerous free perks are great incentives to
stay on-property. As a Disney resort guest, you get free bus
transportation within the park – why spend your money on gas and
parking? There's also Disney's Magical Express, a free service that
shuttles you from the Orlando International Airport to your Disney
resort where your bags will arrive in your room, courtesy of a
special luggage check-in system.
Budget dining is easy too. When you purchase your
theme park tickets, get the Disney's Magic Your Way Package Plus
Dining package. For each night of your stay, resort guests enjoy two
meals and a snack at more than 100 select restaurants.
Make the most of your time by taking advantage of
Extra Magic Hours, when one of the four theme parks opens its doors
one hour early or stays open up to three hours after general
closing.
