Bright Spring Easter Flower Arrangement

Bright Spring Easter Flower ArrangementThis design has been made using a basket for the container, and floral foam, a jar of water and some newspaper for the mechanics!

Newspaper has been scrunched up at the bottom of the basket, to make it more shallow. A plantpot saucer with floral foam is placed on this, towards the back left of the design. The jar of water is added to the right of this and is for the daffodils.

At the back, for the height, I have used a bundle of Tilia stems (Lime), which are just breaking into leaf. The Daffodils have been bundled and fit nicely into the jar of water on the right of the design. A group of Dutch Iris, and two sorts of Tulips have also been added, inserted into the floral foam. Two pots of Primula have been placed at the front, to blend with the colours of the Iris, and the Tulips. These can easily be taken out of the design to water them.

At the front of the design, some Reindeer Moss, (Cladonia rangifera) rests on top of the newspaper, and some egg shells have been added, together with two fluffy Easter Chicks (not real ones, of course!!). On the right of the design, an artificial nest with some eggs nestles amongst the primula foliage. To complete the design, two Easter Bunnies have been added. Well, it's just a bit of fun really.....
