Nut Tree Centerpiece
Materials:
12” Styrofoam cone
Gold- painted walnut
Glue
Green food coloring
4-5 pounds assorted nuts (walnuts, filberts, Brazil,
almonds, pecans, pistachios)
Gold foil leaves
Method:
Work around cone gluing a ring of assorted nuts
around the base of the tree. Allow to dry
thoroughly. Glue on other rings the same way until
the cone is completely covered. Top with a
gold-painted walnut. Color some pistachios green
with food coloring. Dry thoroughly before gluing
into any spaces between the nuts. Add gold foil
leaves in the spaces with the green pistachios.
