Cocktail Party
Rum-based Cocktails
Pina Colada
1 measure white or golden rum
2 measures fresh pineapple juice
2 measures cream of coconut milk
To decorate:
1 cocktail cherry
slice of orange or canned or fresh pineapple.
Place some cracked ice, the rum, coconut milk and
pineapple juice in a cocktail shaker or screw-topped jar. Shake
lightly to mix. Strain into a large glass and decorate with the
fruit.
Peach Daiquiri
3 measures white rum
1 measure peach brandy
Juice of 1/2 a lime
1/2 fresh peach, peeled
Blend together the rum, peach brandy, lime juice,
peach flesh and two scoops of crushed ice. Pour into a glass and
garnish with a wedge of peach. Serve with short straws.
Eggnog
(Blended)
White Rum 30 ml.
Brandy 30 ml.
Sugar syrup 10 ml.
Egg 1
Milk (Hot) to fill.
Serve in a high ball glass and garnish with grated nutmeg.
Mai Tai
(Shaken)
Light rum 45 ml.
Orange Curacao 15 ml.
Sugar Syrup 20 ml.
Almond Syrup 20 ml.
Lime juice 15 ml.
Ice Cubes to top
Use a Collins glass to serve and garnish with a pineapple and
cherry on stick.
