Ice Cream Booth

Make an ice-cream party both fun and simple by setting up an ice-cream booth. Kids and Grown-ups both will enjoy your party as they can choose from their favorite toppings.

What You Will Need:

At Least 4 Different Flavors of Ice-Cream
Lots of Toppings - Sprinkles, Chopped Nuts, Fresh Fruits, Syrups etc.
Cones & Waffles
Sundae Glasses
Ice Cream Cups
Cake Slices or Cupcakes
Cookies
Whipped Cream
Dry Ice
Cooler
Tissues and Paper Napkins

Setting Up the Booth:

You will need a large table to set up your booth. Cover the table with a waterproof table cloth. Decorate the table with pastel colored ribbons and ice-cream shapes cut out of styrofoam or cardboard. Cut out larger shapes to place in front of the table. Wrap the table legs with co-ordinating colored fabrics like - white and pink, red and white etc. Polka dots and colorful fabrics will look especially good. Pin a 'Menu Card' listing all the delights you can assemble. For e.g. Vanilla and Chocolate Sundae with Toppings of Your Choice, Triple Sundae with Toppings of Your Choice, Ice-cream Cookie Sandwiches, Cake with Ice-cream etc.

Bring out all the toppings and other eatables except the ice cream which will come out last, just before you start serving.

Choose What You Like:

Now you have to start playing the ice-cream vendor! Each guest can choose from your menu and order their favorite item. Be generous with toppings but if your guests are kids, use your own diligence because they will not be able to finish their ice creams most of the time. And if they do, they can always ask for more!

Adding Special Touches:

'The Ice-Cream Booth' will be the focal point of the party but you can also more interesting touches. Use the ice-cream shaped cutouts used to decorate the booth at other places. Use pastel colored balloons and ribbons to decorate. Send out invitations in the shape of an ice-cream cone or cup or a Sundae. Play some ice-cream themed games and hand out ice-cream themed party favors.
