Chocolate Covered Cherries

Ingredients:

3 tbsp. soft margarine
3 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 lb. candy making milk chocolate or almond bark
60 cherries, pitted

Method:

1. Drain cherries.
2. Combine margarine, syrup, salt, and sugar. Knead until smooth.
3. Put 1 teaspoon mixture around each cherry.
4. Chill for 1 hour.
5. Melt chocolate in microwave (or double boiler).
6. Dip cherries until well coated and stand on wax paper to dry.
