3 Luxury Items for Your Topical Island Paradise Suitcase

Imagine you could leave your day job and jet off to your own private tropical island.  A place where you could be by yourself surrounded by a beautiful tropical landscape with an abundance of food, drink, and your own private beach hut. If you could only take three luxury items with you, what would they be and why?  Here are some ideas to help you choose.

3 Luxury Items for Your Topical Island Paradise Suitcase

1.      Take your iPad

If you want to maintain your tropical island lifestyle while keeping up with goings on in the outside world, an iPad is the first thing that should be on your list.  You can keep up with the news by searching the web over 3G or by downloading the E! app from the App Store. You can watch movies and TV by signing into Netflix to catch up with the latest episodes or releases by your favourite directors.  You can even plan your outfits by checking out the weather reports for the coming days on the built-in weather app.  With all this and a lot more, it’s hard not to see the benefit in these great little devices – well worth a space in your tropical island bag.

2.      What about a Four-poster Bed?

You might think that you’d be able to put up a little hammock and that would be a good enough to help you get a proper night’s sleep.  But just think about how your sleep has been over the past week, despite being in your comfy bed at home.  With this in mind, the next thing we’d recommend you put in your bag (you’ll need a large bag!) would be a beautifully luxurious four-poster bed.  You’ll be guaranteed a great night’s sleep, especially if you buy silk sheets, which tend to keep you cool – an added benefit when the temperatures on your little island soar.

3.      You’ll Need your Jewellery Box

We don’t wear fashionable clothes and accessories to show-off to other people, we do it to make ourselves feel good and to make the best of our appearance.  This doesn’t need to change when you go to your tropical get away.  Stock your jewellery box with all of the diamond rings you own; if you don’t own any, invest in one similar to the diamond engagement rings available from online jewellery merchants.

Ultimately, what you would take to your desert island is up to you, but the above three luxury items are a good place to start off.
