'Love Blooms' Valentine
Easy fabric flowers and a butterfly made of hearts embellish
this beautiful card that shows your blooming love for your
Valentine.
Materials Required:
Cream colored card blank - 6" x 4"
Red Craft paper - 3.5" x 3" approx
2 Heart cutouts/dies
Red Velvet Cloth Scraps
Green Embroidery Floss or Yarn
Decorative Embellishment or button
Decorative Edged Scissors
Marker/Felt/Sketch Pen
Needle, Thread, Scissors, Glue
Directions:
1. Use decorative edged scissors to cut red craft paper as shown
and stick on the right half of the card.
2. Glue two hearts to make a butterfly as shown.
3. Cut velvet fabric scraps in circles and make flowers by
doing a running stitch around the circle and then pulling the
thread. Watch the 'How-to' video for making these fabric flowers
here.
4. Glue two velvet flowers on the card.
5. Use a glue tube to make stems for the flowers and then stick
yarn or thread over the glue.
6. Write your own special message or use ours - Love Blooms -
using a sketch pen.
7. Add an embellishment to complete the butterfly.
