Heart Appliquéd Hand Towels
We gave these as party favors to all guests at our Valentine's Day
party and everyone simply loved them!
 Materials Needed:
Readymade Hand Towels
Lace
Fabric for appliqué and bias binding
satin ribbon for bows
Directions:
1. Cut off the selvedges on all four sides of the hand towels.
2. Cut a 5" piece of fabric - the width of the towel.
3. Fold it in half and attach it to one short side of the hand
towel.
4. Stitch the lace on it to cover the raw edges.
5. Using the contrasting fabric, sew a bias binding on 3 sides
of the hand towel.
6. Cut a heart shape from a contrasting fabric and sew it on to
the center.
7. Make a bow with a 1/4" satin ribbon and sew/glue it on the
heart.
