Hexagon
Iris
To make a six-color iris, you will need eight strips of each
color. Match the colors to the numbers as follows:
Color A: 1, 7, 13, 19, 25, 31, 37, 43
Color B: 2, 8, 14, 20, 26, 32, 38, 44
Color C: 3, 9, 15, 21, 27, 33, 39, 45
Color D: 4, 10, 16, 22, 28, 34, 40, 46
Color E: 5, 11, 17, 23, 29, 35, 41, 47
Color F: 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48
To make a three-color iris, you will need sixteen strips of each
color.
Match the colors to the numbers as follows:
Color A: 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19, 22, 25, 28, 31, 34, 37, 40, 43,
46
Color B: 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17, 20, 23, 26, 29, 32, 35, 38, 41, 44,
47
Color C: 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 33, 36, 39, 42, 45,
48
Pentagon Iris
To make the pentagon iris, you will need eight strips each of five
colors. Match the colors to the numbers as follows:
Color A: 1, 6, 11, 16, 21, 26, 31, 36
Color B: 2, 7, 12, 17, 22, 27, 32, 37
Color C: 3, 8, 13, 18, 23, 28, 33, 38
Color D: 4, 9, 14, 19, 24, 29, 34, 39
Color E: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40
Square
Iris
You can use either two or four colours
for a square iris.
For a four color iris, you will need 8 strips of each color. Match
the colors to the numbers as follows:
Color A: 1, 5, 9, 13, 17, 21, 25, 29
Color B: 2, 6, 10, 14, 18, 22, 26, 30
Color C: 3, 7, 11, 15, 19, 23, 27, 31
Color D: 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32
Four a two color iris, you will need 16 strips of each color.
Match color A to the odd numbers and color B to the even numbers.
Triangle
Iris
For a three color iris, you will need 6 strips of each color.
Match the colors to the numbers as follows:
Color A: 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16
Color B: 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17
Color C: 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18
