Heart Pin
Materials:
Felt, red or pink, 3x8 inches
3mm fused pearly bead string, 1/3 yard
Ribbons, 1/4 yd each: 7/8 inch red with valentines phrase; 1/8
inch red or pink satin
1 inch flocked bear; white or brown
1 inch silk rosebud, red or pink
dried baby's breath
potpourri, small amount
1 inch pin back
hot glue gun
scissors
tiny frog (optional)
Method:
Cut two small hearts from felt. Flue hearts together leaving
upper edge open for pocket. Glue bead string around heart edge
beginning and ending at bottom point.
Cut one phrase from ribbon and glue slightly angled across
heart. Cut V's in ribbon ends.
Fill heart pocket with 2 tsp. of potpourri. Glue baby's breath
inside heart.
Tie a satin bow to bear neck. Glue bear and rose in front of
baby's breath peeking out from heart pocket. Glue pin back
horizontally onto upper heart back.
