Faberge Style Floral Easter Egg

The finest of replications will not be able to equal remotely the beauty of those gorgeous Faberge eggs but they do provide some very lovely inspirations for decorating Easter eggs in a creative way.

Faberge Style Floral Easter Egg

What you will need:

Styrofoam Egg
Pearl Acrylic Colors - Hot Pink or a Darker shade of pink
Clear Glitter Acrylic Paint
Two long leaves from artificial greenery
White flowers - ceramic, dough, plastic etc. Ours are ceramic
Small flat foil-backed rhinestones (clear backed will not be seen against the bright colors and will blend in the background)
Aleene's Jewel-it glue (or other craft glue)

Directions:

1. Paint the styrofoam egg a bright pink. Let dry completely.

2. First, glue the leaves as shown. Aleene's jewel glue is a very string adhesive and the objects are glued at once without falling off at all.

3. Now paint the egg (including the glued leaves) using clear glitter paint.

4. Glue flowers to the glittery egg using the jewel glue.

5. And lastly, perk up the egg by adding foil-backed stones in the center of every flower, over the leaves and randomly over the pink background.
