Button Covered Easter Eggs
Buttons never fail to amaze crafters with their versatility and
nor will these eggs fail to receive admirable glances from every
guest in your house.

What you will need:
Styrofoam eggs
Mismatched buttons in similar shades
Acrylic paints - a shade lighter than the shade of
your buttons
Craft or Jewel Glue
Directions:
1. Start by painting your eggs in a lighter shade
of the color of your buttons. This will give the buttons a
background and also fill up the spaces in between the buttons.
2. Now bring out your jar of buttons or buy some
inexpensive ones from a craft store. They are usually available
for sale by color or shade.

3. Now start gluing the buttons over the entire
surface of the egg. We found Aleene's Jewel-it glue to be
immensely useful here as its string properties left no need to
press the buttons for even a few seconds. The button holds on
immediately leaving you free to glue the next button immediately.
Leave the part that goes into the egg cup or stand without buttons
to ensure that the egg stands without wobbling.
4. If you have a special button, you can glue it
in the center (like our mirrored button) and arrange the rest
around it.
5. Save a fancy button to insert vertically at the
top. Just push the bottom of the button into the styrofoam and it
will stay in place.
