Remember the time you received that Wedding Invitation?

Come on now, everyone receives ONE wedding invitation! Surely. Well let's just suppose you are one of the one's who received a rather pleasant surprise and were invited to the wedding of the year.

What would you do with the invitation?

My guess would be that you would put it on the fridge door where you could see it everyday….. Right?

Then what?
>> You had something on that weekend?
>> You have nothing to wear?
>> How will you look in those old clothes?
>> What about the presents?
>> Who's going to look after the kid's?
>> How are you going to get there?

Doubts and fears?

But Wow! The wedding of the year and they have invited YOU!

There will be amazing tables laden with food, punch, wine. There will fine music and dancing to all hours and what about the venue. Top class. You must go. You couldn't miss this for quid's!

Everyday you look at the invitation and imagine yourself at the gala occasion. New dress, super makeover, borrow your friend's new car just to pull up out the front of this swank venue and gracefully enter, looking like a million dollars. Oh if only your friends could see you then.

What about the objections? Bah, you will take care of those, easy.
What about the doubts and fears? Gone. You are not going to miss this event. Too Important.

Hey wait a minute. Weren't we talking just the other day about the great business opportunity I had to offer you that would have, given hard work and dedication of course, put you on easy street in three years?

Yeah well, the wedding seemed more exciting and you had the Invitation on the fridge for a month. Guess you got excited about it and forgot about how hard it would be to go to it. Or just worked around that so you could get there.

Can I ask you something?
Sure

What about putting a picture of you and your partner receiving the keys to the new home I know you so desperately want, put that picture on the fridge and look at it every day. What about that? Could you get excited about that?

Sure would.

Then do it. Make a list of all the objections you need to overcome and work out a plan on how you are going to get there and just do it.

You reckon?

Sure, you can do it. Just like the wedding. Same thing.
