How to Cleanse Your Face

The solution to a glowing complexion is all around you and doesn't cost a penny! WATER! Whether you drink it or splash it, it will cleanse your body off toxins, dirt and grime. here is how to cleanse your face externally.

1. Wash your hands thoroughly before washing the face.

2. Wash with warm water, not hot water, especially if your face flushes often. Hot water will not only burn your skin but also worsen the natural tendency to develop extra blood vessels on your face, giving an unattractive, ruddy complexion.

3. Steam your face occasionally before cleaning it, as steam from hot water effectively opens pores.

4. Wash your face with upward, outward motions.

5. If you live in an area where water is hard, be sure to rinse extra.

6. Unless you are exercising frequently and strenuously or are in a sooty environment, it is unlikely that you need to wash your face more than four times a day.

7. Develop a routine to cleanse your face before going to bed every night. Remember, what is not removed from your skin, sinks into your facial skin and leads to blemishes.

8. If your skin is oily despite frequent washing, you should switch from your cleanser to an astringent or medication. Consult your dermatologist before doing so.

9. Do not over wash. It can oily skins to break out after temporarily drying them.

10. Seal in the essential water after washing your face by applying sunscreen, moisturizer or other treatment creams or lotions.
